Tongue Scraper For Cold Sores

Posted by johnson.jonathan.m on March 12, 2017 at 10:25 PM Comments comments (0)

I needed to share this information

I normally get 1-2 cold sores a year

Abreva every day has helped out tremendously but I buzz my lips a lot (brass musician) which can irritate my lips, expecially after long days of work

After doing a lot of research on the health of the mouth, I decided to purchase a tongue scraper

The tongue scraper has been nothing short of incredible

My tongue is smooth with less debris

My mouth feels clean with no odor

Best of all, I have not felt a tingle in over 4 months

I used to not be able to go a couple of weeks without feeling a little bit of a tingle, and if I had long days of work combined with buzzing my lips a lot I would potentially need to apply multiple treatments of Abreva to prevent an outbreak

Now, I buzz my lips all day and only apply abreva once before going to sleep and I am able to be cold sore free because I scrape my tongue multiple times a day

For Content: Rationally Imagine Hard Times as lasting Forever

Posted by johnson.jonathan.m on May 18, 2016 at 2:40 PM Comments comments (0)

This post was inspired by the writings of Albert Camus and the Myth of Sisyphus

I can not gain content until I can imagine whatever annoying states I'm in as potentially lasting for a long time

For example, I am annoyed at the fact that I would like to branch a branch manager quickly.

Until I can rationalize that I could be an assistant manager at Enterprise for 2, 5, even 20 years, I will not be able to find content in my daily grind.

Understanding and accepting this is a catch. The sooner it is accepted the sooner I can stay cool, calm, and easy at work, which in turn will cause me to be promoted quicker.

The key is that I have to be in a rational (non-emotional) state when considering when thinking about this future so that my thoughts do not become distorted by the emotion.

Like Albert stated, once Sisyphus has fully come to grasps that his tasks of rolling the stone up the hill is eternal, then he can finally be at a state of peace and happiness

The Regimented Life

Regiment and order is the necessity of the body Regiment allows for my body to anticipate what will come next and will allows me to be more efficient in my daily doings An analogy would be a runner racing to better his time If there is someone that does a countdown at a steady pace, the runner is able to progressively over time anticipate that countdown This is the same as having s regimented life The more you eat, work, sleep, etc at the same time, the more the body can anticipate these normalities and efficiently get them done Until the person realizes that the regiment is the master and the spontaneity is the emissary, he will not be able to live a fulfilled life

The Root of Objectivity is Subjectivity

The root of objectivity is a subjective point A subjective node The more the questions, the more someone is led to a subjective point, formula, idea, being, etc When you disagree with that subjective point, you creat a new religion or foundation for ideas An objective person can not find security in their questioning until they realize the base point is always subjective

Use "I'm Sorry" After Emotions Have Calmed Down

Posted by johnson.jonathan.m on May 3, 2015 at 10:50 AM Comments comments (0)

When it comes to an argument there are to categories of language to use:

The emotional language and the Rational Language

While in the heat of the argument both parties need to only affirm the emotions of the other person

Once the emotions have calmed down they may speak in rational talk about the situation and things going forward

If one person is out of the emotional state and the other is still in it, the one out of the emotional state has to continue to speak in emotions until the other person is out of the state

I'm Sorry is a rational term and should be used after both parties are out of the emotional states

If used during the emotional states the other party may not be able to recieve the apology

Lawyer for College Athletes

I think that having a lawyer for each college athletics program would be the necessary step that athletes need in order to be represented

The schools have lawyers who look out for the interest of the school

The NCAA is a group of lawyers that have been using the legal system towards their own gain for years

Student athletes need lawyers who are at the colleges to represent their cases

Each major college athletic program can afford a part time lawyer just like they can afford part time doctors

Every professoinal players association has lawyers to represent the players

I just messaged the national college players association to see if they have lawyers and see many many cases they have won

4 Step Prayer Process

Praise God for who he is

Confess wrongdoings

Thank God for the good things in my life

Pray for myself and others

Many times when I feel I need to be humbled I do the first three parts because they put me into a spirit of humility

Add this process into your life and you will see the reward of humility

Keith Barry is a mentalist

I need those skills

Mentalist are very good at saying words that suggest the outcomes that they want to happen

They are also good at giving energy so that the person they are speaking with takes these words

I need these traits

I need to know how to use subliminal words for persuasion

I will research more

Tears are Better than Love Making

Last night I watched The Fault in our Stars with my wife and I shed a good number of tears after the movie was over.

The tears felt amazing.

Most likely it is because it is release that I do not normally do.

I vent daily to my wife or to someone else.

Lovemaking is also a good release,

But, the tears felt great because it had been a long time since I cried
